When I draw, I create creatures and people who can emote in bizarre and exaggerated ways that excite the senses and communicate so much more about their thoughts and feelings than what we "real" folk find possible.
When I write, I create an entire world that is under my control. I create characters that think, that feel, that make mistakes and learn, in ways far beyond my own ability. I create problems; I create solutions. I create order. I create chaos.
